Simple Weddings
Just like many such occasions worldwide, Amish weddings are elaborate affairs. However, they are a whole other universe from the usual American celebrations. Their ceremonies lack a lot of the ornamentation found in different cultures. The new wife and her attendants don’t have elaborate trains, glittering jewels, or flowers.
Amish marriages, which take place mainly at the girl’s family house, are pretty straightforward but elegant in their own unique manner. Because the bridal gown serves as practical clothing for everyday wear, the attire is often blue and rarely white. Additionally, they don’t make use of photographers because photos are not needed.
