In the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, Russian weightlifter Ibragim Samadov felt a deep sense of injustice. He placed third in the men’s 185-pound division, narrowly missing gold due to being 50 grams heavier than his competitors and completing his final lift on the third attempt instead of the second.
