A new type of mobile shopping is presently being tried in the Seoul subway, two years after Tesco’s “virtual store” experiment. Surprisingly, several businesses may be found within subway carriages in South Korea. It’s a terrific location to do business, and the concept of fast-paced shopping isn’t all that awful when you think about it.
However, if this unique buying style is ever imported to the West, we hope to keep to newspaper stores and small merchants. A butcher is the last thing we want on the train! Can you picture the stench of raw flesh first thing in the morning? That’s an ample no-no!
