The Pizza Apology
The wiser, the more experienced guy understands that “sorry” may be a meaningless word. He also understands that grand gestures are only a Band-Aid for a larger problem. Younger males, on the other hand, are more likely to be stupid. And, while this boy’s romantic effort is adorable, it is unlikely to succeed.
He inadvertently wounded his girlfriend and attempted to make amends by apologizing with a delicious warm pizza. We could never say no to a wonderful piece of pizza, but we don’t believe this is the “huge romantic gesture” that every young lady fantasizes about.
