Max Baer Jr. – Age 83

‘The Beverly Hillbillies’ is one of the best shows that came out in the ’60s. Every character in that production was entertaining and well-casted, especially that of Jethro Bodine, played by the equally influential Max Baer Jr. TV audiences couldn’t help but fall for the actor’s peculiar charm and silly punchlines.
Instead of following his father’s boxing footsteps, Max pursued a different career path which is acting. Signed by ‘Warner Bros,’ the aspiring actor’s first small-screen appearances were in ‘Hawaiian Eye’ and ‘Surfside 6’. Despite countless memorable roles, his portrayal as a Hillbilly in Beverly catapulted him to stardom. In his 80s, the TV icon ventured into business, making the most of TV heydays.
