Rita Moreno – Age 89
Rita Moreno spent over 70 years of her life making classic movies that became the pillar of the acting industry. Some of the Hispanic actress’ notable works are the musical blockbuster ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ and the timeless ‘West Side Story.’ As one of the very few who won the four major American entertainment awards, the ‘EGOT,’ Rita proved that she’s more than just a pretty face.
In 1950, she was an aspiring talent who played minor film roles. Eager to standout, she broke the mold in ‘The King and I,’ a commercial and critical success. In 2020/2021, Rita took part in Steven Spielberg’s ‘West Side Story’ retelling, playing a newly-created character this time.
