Eva Herman – 62 years
Eva Hermann initially wanted to be a hotel clerk like her parents, but later trained as a reporter and television announcer at Bayerischer Rundfunk. Before joining the Tagesschau team in 1988, she gained experience in small programs of various kinds. She also managed other public service projects and worked on the Tagesschau team for a total of 18 years. At the time, Herman published the book The Eve Principle, in which she openly supported feminism, which was relatively new at the time. The NDR then ended all cooperation and Herman has been discussed again and again for her statements for quite a long time.
