As a young girl, she was very shy, and at times in school lectures it was so bad that Basinger passed out. Despite this, she wanted to imitate her mother and become an actress. She danced ballet, was a cheerleader and gained a lot of practice in the spotlight. She later became a model, but then decided to focus on acting and moved to Los Angeles. The beauty actually landed a role that would change her life. She played the Bond girl with Sean Connery in Never Say Never. Things have gone quiet around her today, but the Oscar-winning actress is still beautiful.
