Thea Gottschalk – 75 years
Thea Gottschalk was initially known as the wife of Thomas Gottschalk. Thea Hauer was born in Burglengenfeld at the end of the Second World War. In 1972 she met the radio presenter Thomas Gottschalk at a doctors’ ball in Munich’s carnival, whom she married on November 11, 1976. In 1982 she became a mother and in 1989 the couple adopted another young son. They ended up living in a house in Malibu, California. In 2019, the two separated. Thea Gottschalk avoided the eyes of the public, but was conspicuous on media-effective dates and became a well-known tabloid figure in Germany, despite her media shyness.
