Intense Side Stretch – Parsvottanasana

Journey into the deep expanses of “Parsvottanasana,” or Intense Side Stretch, a yoga posture that combines strength and flexibility. Stand tall, step your right foot back about a leg’s length, and pivot it out 45 degrees. Square the hips, fold forward from the hips over the front leg, and reach your fingertips towards the floor.
“Parsvottanasana” stretches the spine, shoulders, and hamstrings, improves posture, and enhances balance. Leaning into the Intense Side Stretch, picture yourself as a bow, the symbol of strength and flexibility. This imagery can inspire a sense of resilience and agility in yoga practice and everyday life.
