Side Reclining Leg Lift Pose – Vishnuasana

“Vishnuasana,” also known as the Side Reclining Leg Lift Pose, is an intermediate-level pose. Start by lying on your right side, aligning the body along the edge of the yoga mat. Support your head with the right hand. Keep the legs stacked and press the left foot against the right. Inhale, and as you exhale, lift the left leg towards the sky.
Extend the left arm upwards, and if possible, grab the left big toe. Balance and hold for 5-10 breaths before switching sides. This pose stretches the hamstrings, opens the hips, and strengthens the core. Additionally, it improves balance and focus.
