Chair Pose – Utkatasana

Unleash your power with “Utkatasana,” the Chair Pose, a yoga posture that ignites strength and determination. It is akin to sitting on an invisible chair. To achieve this pose, stand in “Tadasana” (Mountain Pose), then exhale and bend your knees, bringing your thighs as parallel to the floor as possible. Extend the arms straight above the head, palms facing inward.
Hold the pose for 30-60 seconds while maintaining steady breathing. “Utkatasana” strengthens the thighs and ankles, stimulates the heart and diaphragm, and stretches the shoulders and chest. Building heat in the body, it aids in digestion and circulation, making it a beneficial component of a balanced yoga practice.
