Triangle Pose – Trikonasana

Recall your high school geometry with “Trikonasana,” or Triangle Pose, a foundational standing yoga pose. Start by spreading your feet 3-4 feet apart, turning the right foot out 90 degrees and the left foot 45 degrees. Stretch the arms parallel to the floor and reach out to the right, bending from the hip until the right-hand touches the shin, ankle, or the floor.
Now stretch the left arm toward the sky, keeping your gaze on it. Repeat on the other side. “Trikonasana” strengthens the legs, stretches the hips, hamstrings, and spine, stimulates abdominal organs, enhances stability, improves focus, and relieves stress.
