Lady Behind The Wheel

In 1921, the first car was brought into Saudi Arabia by King AbdulAziz, then known as the Sultan of Nejd. For all those years, a woman was not allowed to drive one, at least until June 24, 2018. This was when the country passed a law that finally allowed the fairer gender behind the wheel.
One company that was quick to celebrate this was Ford. They ran an extensive campaign to help first-time women buyers make the correct choice, which to the manufacturer is buying a Ford. They also ran this visually catchy advertisement of a woman in Parda, with the visor resembling a rearview mirror.
