Time Also Gets One In On Trump
Donald Trump did not have it easy during the tail end of his presidency. Besides Sacha Baron Cohen’s above-mentioned dig as Borat, the media was also closing in on him in subtle ways. Time magazine even turned the screw when his policies during the 2020 lockdown were placed under the spotlight.
This came after he tested positive for the virus despite saying things like no one has had it in America and that it’ll go away during the summer. Time questioned his political and personal vulnerabilities then, compounded by this cover illustrating a virus being spread from the White House.
