It’s not difficult to check the timer on a dishwasher; the only problem is you need to get close to check it. Also, a lot of washers run so quietly that you don’t know when they’re on or not. It can become a drag to check up on it all the time.
Well, some dishwashers are designed smarter and have a light that projects to the floor, indicating that the washer is on. Some even went above and beyond that, building in a light that casts the time left on a cycle.
