Sometimes, when doing renovations to your house, you can help with the things that get in the way. The house was built with a certain design, and you don’t always have the perfect space to put a new fixture… like say a ceiling fan. But that doesn’t mean you should drop the idea altogether.
Like this genius builder, who accommodated for the size of the fan by cutting a little nook into the beam that was in the way. At Monkey Valley, a resort in Cape Town, South Africa, another genius builder built a bar around a tree, cutting little nooks onto the bar for low-hanging branches to fit into.
