Winona Ryder – Beetlejuice
Impressed by her show-stopping performance in “Lucas” (1986), director extraordinaire Tim Burton decided to cast Winona Ryder in “Beetlejuice” in 1988. The move proved to be a turning point in her relatively young acting career, thrusting the Minnesota native into the spotlight.
When she was cast to play goth teenager Lydia Deetz, Ryder was merely 15 years old and was already a part of the number one movie at the box office at her age. In 2021, Ryder returned on the set of “Stranger Things” to shoot the fourth season of the fantasy drama with fellow actors Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard.
