Mark-Paul Gosselaar – Saved by the Bell

Former child star Mark-Paul Gosselaar was quite a hit among female audiences during the late-’80s and ’90s thanks to his long-running role in “Saved by the Bell.” His success as Zack Morris on the popular college-themed comedy series led to his 2001 signing as Detective John Clark Jr. in “NYPD Blue,” appearing in more than 80 episodes during his five-year stint on the crime drama.
Since his early success, Gosselaar has enjoyed an extensive television career, starring in productions like “Franklin & Bash,” “Commander in Chief,” and “The Passage.” In October 2021, Peacock announced the premiere date for the reboot of “Saved by the Bell,” with Gosselaar reprising his iconic role.
