Pasture Power: Ditch CAFO Meat Today

The high consumption of proteins of animal origin triggers a series of problems not only for the environment but mainly for our health. The demand for this type of food increases the practice of CAFO (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation). In this operation, the animals are kept together and often subjected to mistreatment.
Feeding animals directly interferes with feeding people. Animals raised in confinement tend to have higher amounts of omega-6, which is inflammatory. They are given feeds based on GM grains or injections with growth hormones and antibiotics, all of which take a toll on the body over time.
