No Miraculous Recovery
The thing with childhood trauma is that its effects don’t just go away once the stressor is eradicated. So, even though the triplets were reunited, the mental damage caused by their prolonged separation was lasting. Perhaps everyone’s first hit to the trouble brewing was when Robert decided to leave the restaurant that the triplets had opened.
The two other brothers stayed on for a while longer before the Triplets Roumanian Restaurant closed its doors in 2000 and never opened them again. Their 12-year-old business was closed for good.
