Is Something Better Than Nothing?

The Jewish Board of Guardians finally addressed the situation and said that they were in ardent disapproval of the experiments conducted by Neubauer. They claimed to be glad that the triplet’s story opened a conversation about the unethical practice of separating children merely for the purposes of scientific experimentation.
After all that the brothers were put through, this non-apology hardly seems enough compensation. Is it perhaps too little too late? It surely is a far cry from the original demand of financial compensation and a clear public apology that the triplets asked for.
