Shecky Greene – Age 95
After serving in US Navy for three years, Shecky Greene aspired to become a gym teacher. Nevertheless, destiny had some other plans, and he emerged as one of the best comedians in America. Of Course, it didn’t happen overnight; he performed at various nightclubs and showrooms for years in the Midwest to prove his caliber.
Finally, his hard work paid off when he got the chance to appear in the variety program ‘The Ed Sullivan Show.’ Later Greene’s popularity brought him film roles, and he went on to do films like ‘Splash.’ Since the artist has not made an official announcement of his retirement, we believe he is still sound and healthy, and we wish to see him performing again.
