Living With a Withdrawn Mother
Time flew by, and by the time Dorothy was ready to start her own life, the family’s life was getting harder and harder. Unfortunately, she was the eldest, and her father had left her that responsibility. This meant that she had to take care of her mother, who had never been the same even years after her husband had died.
She was also supposed to take care of her mentally challenged brother, Peter, as her mother wasn’t in a position to do that. Meanwhile, the other two siblings had left home for the big city to find a better life.
