Billie Joe Armstrong–1972, Singer, Cisgender

There’s nothing quite as invasive as having the subject of your personal orientation openly debated by ‘fans’ and randoms on the internet. And although Billie Joe Armstrong, the lead vocalist of the punk rock band “Green Day,” publicized his attraction to men and women in the early 1990s, he hasn’t exactly taken well to recent responses from fans.
In a 2010 interview with “Attitude,” Armstrong insisted that the matter should be one that’s just accepted, and the fact that it is an issue is phobic. Though he previously declared his orientation, now it appears he doesn’t classify himself as anything specifically. Green Day’s “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” is featured in the 2021 animated film, “Peter Rabbit 2.”
