Tyra Banks – Delfiniphobia
Ever since she was a toddler, Tyra Banks has been afraid of dolphins for some reason. In an interview with People magazine, the famous supermodel revealed that her fear of the adorable mammals started when she was roughly eight or nine years old and has had recurring nightmares of being in a swimming pool with dolphins ever since.
The women’s advocate and “America’s Next Top Model” host overcame her fear during the early 2000s when she visited Sea World in San Diego to pet, hug and swim with killer whales and dolphins. In September 2021, Banks returned to host the 30th season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars.
