Nicole Kidman – Lepidopterophobia
Although Nicole Kidman has proved her acting mettle for several decades, there is one real-life act that the Australian dame can’t conquer: her fear of flying insects. As a young student coming home from school, Kidman apparently found one of the biggest butterflies she had ever seen at the entrance of her home.
To overcome her phobia, the “Eyes Wide Shut” actress even attempted to walk into a butterfly cage at the American Museum of Natural History, only to throw a fit and go running out of the building instead. In 2021, Kidman was lauded for her role as Masha Dmitrichenko in “Nine Perfect Strangers.”
