Make The Bed Again

Some cats feel uncomfortable around strangers or in unwanted situations and seek the reassuring touch of sheets to feel safe. Your kitty can make its own little tent, and this confined space may feel like protection from danger. A cat might be reducing its stress by sliding under the covers like the one in the picture.
It is the good luck of the cat under white sheets that it was noticed in time, and no one sat on it accidentally. It is not always some threat that leads the cats to hide in the bed; they might be exploring a new room to play in.
