Stop It Please
The owners are always kind enough to never expose it to the hiding cats that they are still visible. But dogs do not have that sympathetic attitude towards rival pets. The cat in the picture is trying to hide behind the white curtain while the dog is amazed at this act and trying to understand the actual situation.
Most cats can happily coexist with a dog if they are given ample time to know each other comfortably. If a puppy and kitten are brought up together, they usually will learn right away to accept each other, and some cats and dogs grow to be real buddies, even playing and sleeping together.
