Ready For The Sharp Scratch?
Some most unpleasant surprises we get from pet cats are their ninja razor-like claws which they use on our ankles from beneath the furniture. A cat is not always hiding in an exposed place; it can be well wrapped under a couch or bed to scratch anyone.
But this behavior emerges when cats see some strangers in the living room and fail to create any bond, so they become hostile. Cats also scratch carpets and furniture horizontally or vertically. This process is called stropping and by this, cats reveal a sharp new surface of their claws by loosening and removing the outer husk.
