You Can’t Put Your Finger On It
One of the most prominent warnings on any household item, particularly ones with blades, is to keep your fingers away from the sharp parts. Some of these utensils even have a mechanism that doesn’t allow them to operate until the lid is closed.
So why on God’s green earth would you want to put your finger in the blade of a handheld blender? Oh, of course, like the guy in this story, who opted to see if he could stop the blade of the blender from turning. Simple answer, the finger lost.
