A Handful Of Soup

If there is one thing we’ve learned from this story, it is that humans are impulsive beings. Sometimes we do things just because we’ve never done them before, like the person in this next story. He chose to stick his whole hand into his bowl of soup because he’s never done it before.
That is a hallmark of being a child, although it must be noted that this is common practice in Nigeria, where it is common to eat soup with your hands. Nigerian soups, like Egusi, are thick and have more solid meat and vegetable pieces, making them easy to pick up with fingers.
