Ted Danson and Casey Coates – Settlement: $30 Million
Ted Danson and Casey Coates ended their marriage after 16 years of being together, in 1993. Allegedly Danson cheated on Coates with Whoopi Goldberg, and this led to the demise of their relationship. This rumored affair caused Danson to pay Coates alimony of $30 million, making a big dent in his bank account.
The couple who got married in 1977 had two children together and are still amicable to this day. Danson stated that they both had fallen out of love with each other, and mutually agreed to go their separate ways. More of him can be seen in the sitcom concluded in 2020, The Good Place.
