Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith and fell in love in 2004. After being together for seven years, the pair got engaged in 2012 and they were wed two years later in a private ceremony in France. At the time the two had three children and adopted another three together.
However, a further two years later, in 2016, Jolie filed for divorce due to “irreconcilable differences”. She even requested sole custody of her six children. The split was finalized in 2019 but no further details have been released to the public. However, the battle over custody is still underfoot to this day.
