The O.C. star, Rachel Bilson, and Darth Wader, Hayden Christensen, met in 2007 on the set of the movie Jumper. They got engaged in 2008 and had quite a few ups and downs over the years. They never got around to getting married but they were together for a decade and even had a lovely daughter.
However, their busy schedules were too difficult for them to navigate through, and eventually, their family bliss gave way to irreconcilable differences. The lack of a marriage certificate meant that they did not have to go through the trials of a divorce.
