Mariah Carey and James Packer – Settlement: $5-$10 Million
The vocal powerhouse, Mariah Carey, and the Australian businessman, James Packer, met in 2014 and were officially together in a whirlwind of a relationship in 2015. By the beginning of next year, Packer had popped the question and they were engaged. However, their love was a short-lived one and they separated by the end of the same year.
Carey sued Packer for an “inconvenience fee” due to moving to Los Angeles to be with him, and a settlement of approximately $5 million to $10 million was reached between the two. They both have moved on and dated other people since then.
