Dolly Parton may be iconic for her country hits like Jolene and 9 to 5, but she has long proven that she is versatile enough to make it big in the film industry. She starred in movies like Rhinestone, Steel Magnolias, Dumplin’, Joyful Noise, and Christmas on The Square.
The iconic celebrity also showed she has a big heart through her philanthropic works, including donating $1 million for health research. Of late, Parton was reported to have teamed up with James Patterson to work on a novel that is slated for a 2022 release.
