Gavin Newsom – California (Approx. $5.6 Million)
Gavin Newsom is not one to keep a lot of properties in his collection, it seems. Following his election as the governor of California in 2019, he put this modern five-bedroom Marin County home on the market. He finally sold it for $5.6 million in 2021, shortly before he won the recall election for the same position.
Bought in 2011, Newsom put a lot of effort (and some $330K) into the home remodeling project that upgraded the residence over the years. Today, it’s been transformed to feature open living spaces and glass walls, which gave it better views of the San Francisco Bay nearby.
