Looking at Ben Carson’s former home in West Palm Beach, Florida, you’d wonder why he was willing to part with it. Located within a country club community—the golf course is literally right outside—, we reckon living in the Mediterranean-style home was just like being on a 24/7 vacation!
But alas, Carson, who served as the secretary of housing and urban development from 2017 to 2021, ultimately listed the palatial estate for sale. It was sold for $920K in 2017 to Stephen Lustgarten, who is an executive at Wahington D.C.-based real estate firm.
