Canola Conundrum: Why It’s Time to Skip the Oil

We know that this is a major plot twist. In the past, nutritionists and many people regarded canola oil as a hero, a good guy, but nowadays, we find it a possible villain. According to functional diagnostic nutritionist Cate Ritter, “made from rapeseed, most canola oil is genetically modified.”
It is an ultra-processed, refined, bleached, and deodorized component, which means it goes through a process that adds toxins and removes nutrients from it, like omega-3s. We need to be careful with hydrogenated fats / trans fats, so cross canola oil off the list.
