Maggie Smith – Age 86

Many know her as Professor McGonagall in the ‘Harry Potter’ series, but Maggie Smith has been in the business since the mid-1950s. She started in the theater as Viola, a character in the play ‘Twelfth Night,’ and won the first of her several accolades in 1962 for her role in two plays. Ever since, she has been one of the most familiar actresses in Britain and beyond.
Made a Dame by Queen Elizabeth in 1990 for her acting, she remains active in her career, with a lead character in the 2021 film adaptation of the play ‘A German Life,’ a role she performed onstage in 2019.
