Glynis Johns – Age 98
Glynis Johns is the oldest living person to be nominated for an ‘Academy Award’ in the acting category. Being well over 90 years, many of the other actors she starred with during the Hollywood golden age of cinema have passed. Glynis, meanwhile, is well recognized for her breathy voice that saw songs written specifically to fit her sound.
The ground-breaking performance for ‘Send in the Clowns’ earned the singer and actor a ‘Tony Award.’ She has had quite an eventful film career with over 50 credits to her name. The accredited actress is long retired from the screens and prefers to spend her days enjoying some peace and quiet surrounded by her family.
