Carole King – Age 79
Known for being one of the most influential songwriters of all time, Carole King began to take music lessons from her mother at the age of four. So by the time she entered high school, she had already started to create demo records with singer Paul Simon. Finally, in 1958, she got the chance to produce her first single, ‘The Right Girl,’ which was released by ‘ABC-Paramount.’
Since then, the artist has written numerous hit pops like ‘One Fine Day,’ and more than 100 of her songs reached ‘Billboard Hot 100.’ Thankfully, by performing in ‘Beautiful – The Carole King Musical’ in 2020, Carole showed she is in no mood for retirement, proving that age is just a number.
