Washing Fuel Tanks Is a No-No!

Have you ever left your fuel door open and gas cap off and driven home? Well, this should make you feel better. A vehicle owner drove into a car wash with their fuel door wide open! Luckily, a concerned onlooker honked to alert them.
The owner quickly exited, removed the fuel cap from the door, and closed everything up, all while the water jets were in action. Watching this was nerve-wracking because water entering the fuel tank could cause serious engine issues. This incident ended well, but hopefully, people will start to double-check before driving through a car wash. Better safe than soaked!
