The Strange Silence

The deeper Hana ventured into the woods, the eerier it became. The sounds of nature, like the calls of birds and rustling leaves, had faded, replaced by a strange silence. It was as though the entire forest was holding its breath. Hana’s footsteps echoed as she followed the bear, her senses heightened.
Every crackling twig underfoot felt like a warning. She felt the weight of something unseen, something watching her, but when she turned, there was no one there. The bear was moving with increasing urgency, and Hana realized it was getting closer to something. But what? Her heart raced in response to the growing uncertainty.
