Eyes in the Darkness
Hana peered down into the dark abyss of the well, her heart racing with anticipation. She could hear faint sounds from below—tiny, skittering noises, almost like whispers. The beam of her flashlight revealed nothing at first, but then, she saw them.
Dozens of small, glowing eyes blinked back at her from the darkness. The creatures, with their eerie eyes, seemed to be watching her, waiting for her to help. They weren’t just any creatures. They looked like something between a wild dog and a bear. Hana’s heart raced as she realized that these creatures were connected to the bear in ways she couldn’t yet understand.
