Oshkosh M-ATV – Cost: $470K

In 2008, Oshkosh won the contract to create the all-terrain MRAP, the M-ATV. The production process moved along quickly and efficiently, and by the end of 2009, Oshkosh was producing a thousand M-ATVs a month. One of the most noteworthy features of the vehicle is the TAK-4 independent suspension system, which grants the vehicle superior mobility.
The M-ATV is a multi-purpose vehicle, capable of being used in a variety of ways on the battlefield. It can carry weapons, provide transportation for troops, and even serve as an ambulance for injured personnel. It has been used in Afghanistan and other areas as a dependable, battle-tested vehicle.
