Boeing C-17 Globemaster III – Cost: $366.2 Million

The Boeing C-17 Globemaster III is a highly flexible and versatile cargo plane in the American Air Force. It has been used to transport troops and equipment to locations such as Bosnia and Kosovo, and is even used by countries such as India, Kuwait, and Australia. At a time, the Globemaster can carry a whopping 170,900 pounds of cargo.
Besides that, it can perform short-field landings and tactical missions with ease, and even serve as an air ambulance transport if necessary. The C-17 is capable of flying up to a maximum altitude of 45,000 feet and can reach a top speed of 518 miles per hour.
