Adopting Blue
Before taking the puppy home, the shelter employees instructed them to have the dog checked by a vet. They agreed as it was a condition for taking him. The shelter revealed they hadn’t had the chance to do it themselves. Unbeknownst to them, a shocking revelation would soon overshadow this joy.
At the time, they didn’t know what the vet visit would lead to. They planned to get the vet visit out of the way to bond with their new member, whom they named Blue. To avoid rushing, they arranged an appointment for the next day. Getting home, they noticed that Blue seemed happy.
