As established on this list, bike theft is not limited to the United States or the United Kingdom. This lady named Kayla Smith from Vancouver suffered the same fate when her beloved bike was stolen. The only difference is that she was able to retrieve it after an act of sweet revenge on the culprit.
Apparently, she saw it on Craigslist being sold for $300 so she decided to meet with the seller. Smith asked if she could take it for a test ride, with the man instructing her not to take off. Guess what? She biked her way out of the place and met with a friend who drove them away.
